This I know
Nothing inflated
Not an ego
Just a simple truth
Told to me by others.
But it took me
A minute to believe
The reflection
That was looking back at me.
She wasn't believable
With features that never
Graced the cover of
Glamour magazine.
I'm standing once again
But I'm not in front
Of the mirror
But the throne.
