He misses me Like I missed him Once upon a time And I remember asking God What was I doing wrong The silence was golden Yet loud simultaneously I could hear the heart beat Of my love carousing through My body from head to foot Remembering the prayer That I spoke in earnest petition A man after God's heart Who would know how to treat the woman Of God's heart And love her unconditionally He misses me Like I missed him Once upon a time

My natural woman My spirit woman She wants the same thing To be recognized Loved Held Respected By a man The natural man The spirit man She says she wants him To be one The same So she waits He knocks Doors open Windows too So much goodness Overflowing And she wonders They listen Fast Steady Eyes shut Heart opened Sounds strange at first Those words spoken We remember a spirit man Sees me woman like God Sees his daughter And we smile
